I have dreamed of being able to bring to my fans+fellow guitarists beginner & professional alike, an affordable high quality electro-classical guitar that suits my style, has some stunning spec & is set up amazingly well... it has finally arrived, it bears my personal endorsement & is set up by a master luthier & then play tested by myself with the video for each guitar posted with its advert.

Tim Edey model 1 has landed!

So I have played for over 20 years now mainly Takamine & Yamaha electro acoustic classical guitars, they have served me incredibly well and in fact the main guitar I use a Yamaha NCX900R gifted to me by Canadian superstar guitarist J.P. Cormier in 2010 is still my main guitar.

However it has been my dream for around 4 years to have a guitar that had a tech spec and build I loved but was also affordable & with a solid solo & accompanying pickup system... This has now been realised, I can now offer a "Tim Edey model 1." electro acoustic classical.

The two used guitar model one's sold! I am so happy people loved the sound and look of these lovely guitars.

Model 1. no. 3. now available, then in around 10 days I am awaiting professional set up & inspection of 2 more models of this exact same Tim Edey model 1 guitar, these are acoustic but can have a high quality pickup fitted on request for a very reasonable fee or just enjoy them acoustically.

The electro acoustic Tim Edey model one has it seems proved to generate a lot of interest, and so I am ordering some more guitars from the maker, and please if you wish to be on the priority list email me now here below or drop me a note via the form at bottom of the page. timedey (a) gmail.com

I wanted to bring to my fans & fellow guitarists an affordable yet super packed stunning sounding & playable guitar with features I requested it came with.

The Tim Edey model one electro acoustic classical guitar has some unique & amazing value features including;

Solid Canadian spruce top Indian rosewood fingerboard Unique modern bowl cutaway design Armrest for amazing comfort & stunning looks Standard classical neck width Java ebony back/sides High gloss finish 1x set of professional grade spare strings & string winder & Jim Dunlop elastic capo that I use

Unlike most guitars bought from a shop this is set up by a master luthier Sander Vershuur of Perthshire guitar service Scotland. New premier brand rotosound pro strings are freshly on this guitar along with a fresh 9v battery.

This guitar comes with my preferred settings on a classical guitar a low action that is fast but doesn't lose tone or volume & fret dress & polish.

It has a lovely Tim Edey logo as a wooden plectrum made & designed by Treepicks of Canada on the headstock.

It has a modern factory fitted pickup system with 5 band eq, chromatic tuner with bright blue led for onstage setting.

I have found two settings that work superbly for both solo playing where you need "attack, projection & volume" and then. more mellow strumming setting, I include these personal Tim Edey settings with each guitar for your reference.

They come with a lovely black semi hard case with a interior pocket & truss rod key, shoulder straps for carrying like a rucksack.

This used model has been played by myself for around 7 hours & was used during a house concert stream which you can see below, and indeed hear the instrument in its full flow!
